And I think it turned out pretty well. We ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, and I'm already mentally writing chapter 5. I might not have time to get to it until Saturday, though. I have 13,900 words over those 4 chapters, and I'd say they're pretty complete and polished. I'm still planning 20 total, but that may change, since the clock is ticking...

Meanwhile, I think I'm 40% through my Dead Boy Detectives Exchange fic, which is due in a week. Eek! I should prioritize that and get it out the door.

I'm so glad I didn't sign up for Yuletide this year. I had fun with it last year, but I think the extremely small fandoms may be too much effort for too few eyeballs. I think the next major project I'll do (after FFFX, of course) will be in My Hero Academia. I assume I'll be showered with so many kudos that I won't know what to do with my truckloads of success! /😅
