May the Fourth Done!

artemisdartI just finished my offering for the May the Fourth Be With You exchange, and I'm quite pleased with it! I can't wait for authors to be revealed on May 11 so I can talk about it here.
I'm glad I got it posted a day early, so tomorrow I can focus on relaxing. I'll be going out to breakfast with my boyfriend, then attending an open house at the sauna & cold plunge club that I joined, and finally going to the Bonsai Museum with a friend, before online Board Game Night. We started online Board Game Night every other Sunday night during COVID, and we've never stopped.
I'm really glad to have this story done. Without saying too much now, I'll just note that I found the premise to be extremely challenging, even though it was something I had added to my offer list. I guess I just never really thought I'd match on "that" -- but I did, so then I had to figure out a way to write it that felt authentic. And I think I hit the mark to my own satisfaction. :)
