Chapter 4 of Hard Reset

artemisdartYesterday (Sunday the 3rd) I finished and posted chapter 4 of Hard Reset. I had 2500 words of it from back in September, and I ended up writing about 3400 more.
As I was about to post, I thought, "Is this too much angst? Is this too much smut?" Then I remembered that writing angsty smut is basically my entire deal and I should just lean into that, so I posted away!
This chapter was partly inspired byhimbeersaft's desire for Hux to get to relax in bed and be a pillow princess. ^_^ I did the pillow princess part, but I had him angsting pretty hard on the inside at the same time, so I don't know how well I indulged their preferences!
Gingerpilot Week is coming right up! I have ideas for 5 out of the 7 prompts so far. Some are light and fluffy and one is suuuuuuper dark. If I actually write that one, I fear any readers would get whiplash. But that's why the tag system exists!
I don't think I'll have time to write that many GP fics that quickly, but who knows -- if I keep them short, maybe. Kinktober proved to me that I can achieve much more than I thought I could, as long as I'm willing to neglect my real life responsibilities!
