Curses, again

artemisdartOnce again I wrote something for an exchange, and once again I ended up making it Non-Con when the person specifically Did Not Want that. What on earth is wrong with me??
The difference this time is that I have over a month to fix it! I might delete the thing and write a new, totally consensual thing. Or... Hmmm. I don't know. This pairing doesn't lend itself to consensuality.
Oddly enough, these two pieces are the only two Non-Con pieces I have ever made. In both cases, the ship was inherently antagonistic, and it made sense to me to write what I wrote. But in both cases, it would be awful to give that to someone who specifically said they didn't want it.
I still feel horribly guilty about how it all went down the first time, in the Id Pro Quo exchange earlier this year. That time, I didn't realize I had given a gift that violated my gift recipient's wishes until it was already too late, when the mods contacted me about it. I asked them to pass along my apologies, offered to take it down, take the person's name off it, or replace that person's name with someone else who wanted the same ship (and who was fine with Non-Con), but the mods said no to all of that. They also said I was not allowed to contact my recipient to apologize. I was so upset! Person, if you ever randomly come across this post (which you will not), please know that I am so sorry I gave you Non-Con when you did not want that. The irony is not lost on me.
