A long-awaited chapter!

artemisdartI just posted chapter 24 of Bloodlines, which I've had in my head since July!
I had this whole visual storyboard for this particular confrontation, including (but not limited to): A kindly old man in the solarium, surrounded by little birds -- suddenly turning creepy and preying on his own birds by biting one in half! A thunderstorm outside, a chase through stands of tropical plants to a spiral staircase leading to a glass room with a wrought iron railing and a door to the exterior of the curved glass roof! The nobleman skittering on the roof, desperately trying not to fall!
I added some more stuff as I was writing, including a much gorier end for the bad guy than I was originally planning. But hey, this guy most definitely had it coming.
I feel such a sense of satisfaction upon posting this chapter!
