artemisdartI ran out of characters for my likes and dislikes for the Star Wars: A Ship Awakens Secret Santa exchange, so I'm posting it here!
My favorite Star Wars ship is Gingerpilot.
Some of the things I love about this ship: THE BANTER, first and foremost. Also, Hux being uptight / self critical / overly disciplined (from trauma) and Poe getting him to loosen up and enjoy life. Hux being a brilliant, devious mastermind and Poe being a reckless himbo of a flyboy. Hux having lots of trauma and Poe being able to understand that because he does, too, he just hides it. Hux having very little experience and Poe teaching him (possibly with his cock)
I love angst with a happy ending, fluff, the magic of the Christmas season (cough "life day" cough), Hux being introduced to new foods / traditions, hurt/comfort, romance, smut, or any combination of the above! I like jealous Hux or Poe when it turns out they had no reason to be jealous. I am fine with AUs, including modern AUs. I love the symbolism of Poe's ring. I would like a happy ending, or at least "happy for now"!
I don't want major character death, lots of gore/injury, permanent mental or physical injuries, incest, poop, gender swap or gender bending, body horror, changing into animals, ageplay, non-consent, eggs, somnophilia, violence (even sexy BDSM violence) from Poe to Hux (poor guy has already suffered enough). (But I think Poe could take a flogging and enjoy it.)
I'm ambivalent about a/b/o. I've seen it done well but it's not really my thing. However if it's your thing and you're really enjoying writing it, I will probably enjoy reading it!
or if you just want to write snuggling and hot cocoa, THAT IS GREAT TOO!

I do not like Kylo Ren as a shippable character, so I would not like any Kylo fics, please. (He makes a great villain though.)
In the new Ahsoka show, I could go for Ezra/Sabine, Shin Hati/Sabine, or a poly group of all three (although wow, they'd have to work through some stuff first!). I've also been thinking of a Baylan Skoll/Asajj Ventress pairing in an alternate timeline where she doesn't die... If you have other ideas for Baylan I'd love to see them, because I feel like his character deserves some fiction.
