NaNoWriMo Prep

I've decided to knock out as much of my historical novel as possible during NaNoWriMo. That means I can't start writing it yet! So instead, I'm researching the time period and assembling files of notes, a timeline, a character list, a detailed story breakdown with beats, etc. I hope that when Halloween is done I'll be able to rip right into this project.

I'm requesting a book from Interlibrary loan about the lives of bishops in medieval Europe. Apparently there's an essay about my time period but Portugal; I think that would be fairly similar to Languedoc, at least in some ways.
