I've been undergoing a series of dental procedures that are Not Fun but that are Important for my future dental health. Let me tell you young ones -- take care of your teeth! Dental pain is a special category of pain.

Anyway, I'm trying not to let it get me down. I'm figuring out what characters in my various fan fiction plans are going to be experiencing this pain, and figuring out how to describe it accurately!

It's all grist for the mill!
