artemisdartI posted the final chapter in "Key Change" last night! Technically it was still September 14 here, but AO3's timestamp says September 15.
All told, it came to just over 50,000 words. I was surprised that even for a relatively long piece -- this currently holds spot #2 in my work list when it comes to length -- I could have put in so much more. Rereading some of the scenes, they feel almost sparse, like I could have put in way more description.
The characters also got away from me a few times, just doing what they wanted to do and not what I had plotted. Those guys!! sigh
And someone with the handle K62256 posted their gift to me!!! It is a lovely piece of art with Kakashi bleeding on Iruka's doorstep. I am so into it!
