Welcome to my author letter for Smut Wars 2026!
Another year, another series of excuses to put our characters into Situations. I'm happy to continue in this grand tradition of smutting up the Galaxy Long, Long Ago and Far, Far Away!
I tend to like some Plot to my smut -- to know *why* the characters are doing what they're doing. That makes it so much more enjoyable, especially if some of those reasons may be a bit conflicted / self-serving / under duress / dubiously consensual / etc.!

Thoughts on My Requested Pairings
Here are some brief thoughts about all the pairings I requested, BUT, I'm also quite happy if you don't stick purely to these scenarios, and instead write what inspires you!
=== All Hux All the Time ===
I requested almost every grouping that included Armitage Hux. I love reading about him in many scenarios, with many different people...
Armitage Hux/Armitage Hux -- I can think of a few bizarre plot devices by which this might come to pass. But my more pressing question is -- why? If there were two of them, why would they get it on with each other? Is someone making them? Is one of them crazed somehow? Will they join forces to do this in the most efficient way possible? Is this the only way they can be vulnerable -- with someone who will never hurt them, because he IS them?? I have so many questions about this!
Armitage Hux/Dopheld Mitaka: Lots of room here for repressed gay pining either up or down the chain of command -- and/or maybe some rushed assignations right before straightening their uniforms and returning to the bridge -- and/or Mitaka trying to get closer to Hux and failing, and yearning about it... and/or Hux realizing Mitaka is far too good for his role as Lieutenant and should really get his own command somewhere else... somewhere far away... and being horny / sad about it. And then smut? :)
Armitage Hux/Dopheld Mitaka/Kylo Ren: Oh, poor Mitaka -- what are you doing sandwiched between these two? Or are the power dynamics different when it's the three of them? Could Mitaka be the one in charge?
Armitage Hux/Enric Pryde: This one feels predatory, abusive, and downright icky. The absolute best case scenario is that Pryde is somewhat entranced by his peer Brendol's much-too-young-for-him son, and grooms / browbeats Armitage into allowing him more liberties than he should be taking at his age. Eeeesh, but also, could make for some great fanfic!
Armitage Hux/Matt the Radar Technician: I see this as hilarious! Imagine Matt -- either a legitimate second person, or just Kylo Ren in a terrible disguise -- getting it on with the General. I'm already grinning like crazy at the hijinks!
Armitage Hux/Thanisson: Let's face it -- we know nothing at all about Thanisson. He had maybe one line and then was hurled off-screen and seen no more. That means you can do a lot of things with him!
Armitage Hux/Tritt Opan: We do know that Tritt Opan is a creepy looking assassin who worked for Brendol Hux. I personally have a head canon that he keeps exotic beetles in his quarters and lets them bite him after every kill, carving a notch into his skin for each life he's taken. HOWEVER, that's just me! I also deeply vibe with the thought that he's been obsessed with / semi-stalking Brendol's young and too-attractive son for years now. Maybe he knows he's creepy and offputting. Maybe he'll be surprised to learn that actually, that's not a dealbreaker for Armitage.
Cardinal/Armitage Hux: I can so easily see both these people pining for each other, each in their own way. (Cardinal: Repressed, stoic, yearning. Hux: Acidic, horny and spitting mad about it.) Could there be sex pollen? Could someone get pregnant? Just spitballing ideas! :D
Cardinal/Armitage Hux/Thanisson: Purely inspired by the fic "Stone Fruit" by JayneSilver, I have a deep need to read a horny fic where alphas Hux and Thanisson mate, knot, and breed omega Cardinal as many times as physically possible. I just think it'd be neat!
Clan Techie (Dredd)/Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux: It's very possible the world of Dredd is just some shithole planet in the Outer Rim, right? What happens if the First Order shows up there to find and liberate one of Brendol Hux's cloning experiments -- a slender, redheaded, abused man who's been forced into privation and slavery and never shown a kind word in his life? Could Poe get in the middle of that? (and perhaps quite literally get in the middle of that??)
Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Dopheld Mitaka: My favorite ship, Gingerpilot -- with a little bit of cinnamon roll Mitaka in there, too. Or wait -- maybe Mitaka isn't the cinnamon roll here. "Instead of Stars" by Taz_Eichel imagines a world where established Hux/Mitaka brings Poe in as a play / sex partner, and I looooove that idea... but there are many other ways this could go as well!
Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren: I'm obsessed with imagining Poe sandwiched in between these two powerful First Order men. Oh my, Poe, what have you done now???

And here are other Sequel Trilogy ships that don't have Hux in them!
Clan Techie (Dredd)/Matt the Radar Technician/Dopheld Mitaka: I feel like all three of these people exist at least somewhat in Hux's orbit. Techie is his genetic clone, Mitaka has been his right-hand lieutenant for years, and Matt is obviously Up To Something -- perhaps something to do with Hux?
Clan Techie (Dredd)/Poe Dameron: I am always a sucker for stories where a strong, good person rescues and rehabilitates a wounded broken person.
Dopheld Mitaka/Kylo Ren: Now here's a new one to me. Poor Mitaka in that one scene -- but does he find a way to turn the tables?
Dopheld Mitaka/Thanisson: Since we know so little about Mitaka, and nothing about Thanisson, this could be whatever you make it!
Phasma/Lusica Stynnix: Lusica seems very young and probably scared out of her mind. Phasma is neither of those things. Let's see what happens when we make them kiss!
Phasma/Rose Tico: I am still stuck on the idea of Phasma/Rose! I would adore a grumpy mechanic / hotshot mecha pilot AU with these two.
Poe Dameron/Amilyn Holdo: These two were so frustrated with each other in The Last Jedi. I wanted them to just get a room and fuck it out.
Poe Dameron/Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa: Two hot women Domming the heck out of the best pilot in the Resistance? Poe Dameron may be young, dumb, and full of come, but he's about to be fewer of those things.
Shara Bey/Rae Sloane: This is only technically Sequels-related -- but how weird / great would it be if the mothers or mother figures of my One True Pairing (Hux/Poe) got it on back in the day? There needs to be more Rae Sloane in fanfic!

Brander Lawson/Darth Maul: These guys CLEARLY have a "Les Mis" nemesis thing going on. Maybe they should fuck about it.
Darth Maul/Qi'ra/Han Solo: I love a bad guy taking advantage of good guys / putting them in Situations!
Devon Izara/Brander Lawson/Darth Maul: This could get weird. Toxic. Weird. But maybe very hot.
Devon Izara/Darth Maul: Maybe Devon is tired of always playing nice.

- A plot of some type, to enhance the smut. It doesn't have to be long and convincing, but I would like some sort of reason given for why these people are smutting it up
- Using the Star Wars universe
- Banter, insults, quips, personalities shining through despite unusual circumstances
- "Doing this for political reasons" sex
- "Doing this for Force reasons" sex
- Fuck-or-die, sex pollen, Bad Guys Made Them Do It, The Force Made Them Do It sex
- Kink! BDSM, including power exchange
- A bit of noncon. Or a lot of noncon. But note that both people should be enjoying themselves at some point (see below)
- Pain, and the struggle to take the pain / overcome the pain / avoid the pain / lean into the pain / use the pain to Prove Something
- Conflicted characters doing Things for Reasons that may or may not hold up (the Reasons may actually be their own undealt-with feelings / horniness)
- Longing / yearning / pining (especially Pining While Fucking)
- Hurt/comfort in pretty much any flavor
- Self esteem issues
- Can include internalized homophobia, self loathing inner dialogue, etc.
- As I get older, I find that I'm more drawn to stories that include the characters being upset that their older bodies are betraying them -- but then maybe it's not so bad after all, because someone loves them
- I love the dynamic of the caring Dom and the traumatized, self loathing sub who needs to be treated nicely for once. I love petting that person / praising them / feeding them / making them feel good / sexing them up. :)
- I also love a mean, distant, impossible-to-please Dom who is barely paying attention to their sub :'(
- I also love unrestrained nasty smut with bodily fluids all over the place
- I also love tender, connected, spiritual sex, but there is an Unspoken Problem between the two people :'(
- Realistic sex - cocks that aren't all huge, guys who don't always get super hard, orgasms that don't happen at the exact same moment, or maybe don't happen at all. Funny sounds, sex accidents (sexcidents?), just the humor and strangeness of the whole thing
- Unrealistic sex - multiple orgasms with people whose bodies you don't really know well, tentacles / xeno elements, Force orgasms (Forcegasms?), whatever you can think up ;)
- I also love strangely conflicted characters who might have Feelings that they're not willing to fully examine (but the sex feels good)
My Do Not Wants:
- Sex where one person hates it the whole time. They can start out hating it, but they should be enjoying themselves at some point, even if only physically. They don't necessarily need to orgasm though (although I do like that)
- Major character death within the requested characters
- Permanent physical or mental illness or injury happening to the character in the story. Note that it's fine if someone is already permanently injured, disabled, etc. at the start of things
- Permanent body changes such as losing a limb, becoming a cyborg, having your body parts altered, etc. happening in the story
- Urethral stretching, anything unrealistic to do with the cervix
- Incest
- Poop, vomit, bestiality, children, making someone wet themselves and mocking them for it
- Stuffing / feeding / making your partner fat on purpose / dirty talk about any of that
- Losing a pregnancy (mentions of previous miscarriages would be fine. I just don't want to experience it vicariously)
- Unrequested trans headcanons
- "Littles" / age-play / age reversion
- Soulmates / soul bonds, Hanahaki disease
- Coffee shop, flower shop, tattoo artist AUs, etc.
