In another way it was pretty small. Just a turbolift ride and two conversations
I credit this server for giving me insight into Phasma's character

SanitySalaryCelery: i really liked the incremental build-up to || kissing. || it had space to happen which was nice esp since there hasn't been a lot of hugging or any of the preceding behaviors, either each was it's own significant thing

Tbh I was at a crossroads awhile ago on this fic as to whether I would give it the Full Plot Treatment or just end it after a few chapters... and I decided that even though only a few people will ever read it, I was going to give it the full treatment. So I have room to spread out a bit and take ||55k words to work up to a kiss 😁||

This is the kind of friendly interaction that I was missing for the first few years of being in the fanfic hobby. It's so very rewarding to write something for an audience, even if there are only a few people who will ever read it or care. Honestly, kudos are nice, but I'm so much happier with this kind of interaction than I was when I wrote something that took off, kudos-wise, but with almost no interactivity.
I love having found fandom friends!
