10 Items or Less

artemisdartTonight's the night for me to really hit my submission for the 10 Items or Less exchange, and hard...
... and now it's almost 10 PM and I have achieved nothing except some research.
Oh, okay -- I also measured a bunch of trees in the yard for a project we'll be doing -- wrote to a project manager with all of the tree-related info (including incorporating info from 2022 when we first went through this and synthesizing it all into a handy chart) -- went to the periodontist -- got a mammogram (not at the periodontist) at a place half an hour away -- wrote to my son's doctor about an insurance pre-clearance -- wrestled with my constipated cat to pull hard blobs of poop out of his butt (sorry, but that's what happened) -- did dishes -- finished signing up for Yuletide (which is HARD WORK you guys) -- oh yeah, and actually did my paying job, at least kind of.
But my fic is still unstarted. Bleh!
I think I'm going to take a 20 minute power nap and see if I have any juice left in me for the day. It has been a remarkably busy day, even for me.
(EDIT) Now it's after 11 pm and I've wrestled with the constipated cat even more, plus dealt with various forms of cat clean-up. ICK, and also BLEH, and also, there's no way I can produce any meaningful work tonight.
Ughhhhhh, real life whammied me today.
