Finalizing my work for the rest of 2025
Oct. 16th, 2025 08:59 pmWith Three and a Half Steps almost done -- just one chapter left to write! -- I'm queuing up all the work I want to do for the rest of 2025.
This year, Gingerpilot Week won't be happening. The current thought is that they'll delay it to February or March of 2026.
So that means that I have the following to finish this year:
This may seem like a lot. But it doesn't include a Gingerpilot Week or a Five Figure Fanwork Exchange, so I actually feel like it's a reasonable amount of work for the rest of the year.
If only I didn't have to earn a living and could just sit around writing fan fiction all day every day!!

So that means that I have the following to finish this year:
- Final chapter of Three and a Half Steps. Due this weekend
- My piece for the 10 Items or Less Exchange - Due Saturday October 25. Not started yet, although I have done some research. Yes, I know this is really soon.
- Any other Schlocktober fics I may feel compelled to write this month.
- Fic for the Holiday Exchange for the A Ship Awakens Discord server - I don't have my assignment yet, but I will soon
- Fic for the "Holiday Huxchange," the exchange for the Aw Shucks Hux Discord server. I don't have my assignment yet, but I'll get it at the end of the month
- Yuletide!!! I need to write my sign up letter and go through all the steps of signing up. Maybe after I get this weekend's work done. The sign-up deadline is October 24.
- Six of a Kind - Last updated March 3. I feel so bad for letting this one sit for so long, especially since it was a gift...
- Uncage Me - Last updated April 6. I have 2500 words of the next chapter done. I just need to finish 1.5 chapters and turn it out into the world, finally.
- Cat on a Plasteel Roof - Last updated April 27.
- Live Wire - Last updated August 10.
