Pairings I Like

Poe Dameron/Armitage Hux/Dopheld Mitaka
I've never written this triad, but I think it could really work. Maybe Hux and Mitaka both survived Exegol and are struggling to fit in on Ajan Kloss. Maybe two of them are an established couple and the third one ends up sparking off both of them. Could Poe and Mitaka learn to like each other? Maybe they conspire to make their boyfriend happier than he ever thought he could be. If you go with the fluffy post-First-Order narrative, maybe it could be the first Life Day for Hux and Mitaka. Maybe Poe can help them acclimate a little bit?

If you want to take it in an angsty direction (always a favorite of mine) -- Maybe Hux notices the other two spending more time with each other and assumes the worst, that they're breaking up with him to focus on each other... but then that turns out not to be true?

I could also go for a First Order Wins story where Poe is a prize of war, to be shared between Hux and his favorite lieutenant...

For trans headcanons / gender swaps, if you do want to add a trans character, I'd prefer it if you only transed Mitaka, Techie, or Hux (just one, please!), and make it FtM. I don't want trans Poe, Marc Spector, or Owen Carver. Sorry!
