Updates this weekend

artemisdartThis weekend I managed to update two fics.
I added Chapter 13 of Three and a Half Steps. This chapter was the first time I've put in some dialogue-only scenes, and I felt that it was a fun way to do a time skip, and a fun challenge to really focus in on the voices and make sure they stand alone, without any description at all.
Then yesterday I found myself in the Emergency Room for 8 hours with a loved one, waiting for them to run tests and then tell us the results. I brought my laptop along because I figured there would be down time, and I was certainly right! I was able to finish and post a chapter of Live Wire from the folding chair next to my loved one's bed. We truly do live in the future! (My loved one is fine; this is a low urgency / common problem that some antibiotics should fix right up!)
That's all well and good, but I really need to be working on my Smut Wars contribution, which is due quite soon. Eek!
