It really is interesting though to analyse how the activity of the fandom you're writing for influences the amount of kudos, etc. you get. I mean, yeah, it's logical, but when it first happened to me when briefly writing for a game that had just released last year I still was surprised how much more engagement I got in comparision to my other fandoms. My most popular fics are still from that time.
Same with the Genshin fandom, really. If you write for one of the more popular ships, you'll get plenty of readers as soon as you post the story.
