14 of Spanks

artemisdartEarlier today I posted chapter 14 of Spanks for the Memories. I was planning 18 total, then bumped it up to 20, then put it back at 18, but now I'm wondering if I might need 20 again after all. There's so much plot to get through! Naturally, I have no one to blame but myself.
Two chapters ago, the word count was 62,222. After posting 14, the word count is 73,333. I'm definitely not doing this on purpose!
Tomorrow I'll be leaving town with my girlfriend for 5 nights. I hope to find time to write, but I'm a bit worried I won't be able to finish chapter 15 by the weekend. Still, I'll try my best.
This far through the story, we are at good times for angst, pining, and longing. I looooooove writing all that; it's where I live! (Well, that and the kinky sex. I live there, too.)
I have two homes basically... lol!
I spend all my free time thinking about my WIPs and how I'm going to proceed with them. At this point I've written and rewritten Spanks in my mind so many times that I'm almost bored with it. I've been thinking about it since April!
Almost -- but actually, not really. I love writing down the next installment, because then I can start to think about what comes after.
