Late on my Hard Reset chapter :(
Oct. 6th, 2024 11:04 pmI spent the weekend writing more Kinktober fics, as well as doing mundane things such as grocery shopping, helping my girlfriend trim the trees in her yard, and spending time with my family. So I haven't finished this weekend's chapter of my current Gingerpilot WIP, Hard Reset.
That's all right, though. The obligation to post something every weekend isn't one that anyone outside me placed upon me. It's something that I chose to take on, because I enjoy the rhythm of having a weekly obligation to post something. In a way, it takes the place that church used to have in my life.
I guess since I'm worshiping at the altar of Kinktober right now, Gingerpilot will have to wait a bit more.
I have 16 fics done and several more started, meaning it will be a lot easier to work on them later. This coming week, I still need to write Wednesday's, Friday's, and Sunday's. I'm not too worried about Sunday's, because I can do that on Saturday. But I need to work ahead. There are a ton of days later in the month that will need something, and I may end up running out of time and energy...
