391) Last night, of course, was the huge midnight Harry Potter release fest at Barnes & Noble.

Since my husband got off work at midnight, right across the street from a Barnes & Noble, he decided to swing by. But not to get the Harry Potter book. Instead, to swoop upon a copy of the new Preston Child book, Still Life with Crows.

He succeeded in picking up a copy in spite of the hordes of children and their weary parents clutching red and yellow scraps of paper with their numbers on them...
