366) Tuesday night was the series finale of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

We made an occasion out of it... drove down to our friends' place, and had a special commemorative "end of Buffy" dinner.

The menu:

Steak (get it? Stake? Steak?)
with Garlic (get it? Garlic?)
Angelhair pasta (in honor of the character Angel)
Bloody Marys
and... um... sauteéd mushrooms.

Why the mushrooms? I hear you cry. Good question. According to K., it's because they grow and feed in the dark, like vampires. But according to N., it's 'cuz they taste good with steak.
