Renewed enthusiasm
I'm happy to report that I have bounced back from last week's mood slump. I now burn with a brand-new passion for writing fan fiction! pumps fist in air
Tonight I hope to get started on my Five Figure Fanwork Exchange fic. I have my original characters' outer appearances and personalities, the overall plot, the basic building blocks of the world and nations involved, the technology level, the various political factions (mostly...), the plot of an Arc 1 with tension / climax / resolution, the plot of an Arc 2 with tension / climax / resolution, and plenty of ideas for the NSFW parts, lol. And there will be NSFW parts, because it's me, and that's 2/3 of everything I write.
I do sincerely wish that I could share my work with my husband, but he is deeply bored by reading about sex. It's just not his thing at all, in any way. He's still so confused by how anyone could consider Armitage Hux attractive. And I'm like "…....... we do, though"

I'm really intrigued by this new fic you're writing. What genre is it, if I may ask? Of course I totally understand if you can't share this info yet, but I'm very curious to see you publish it! :D
My little silly dream that I've had for a few years is to write a horror story (with m/m, of course) set in an Austrian ministry (I'm a civil servant). I would even have two characters I made up when I was writing original stories in my late teens, but I have yet to find the inspiration to sit down and plot the whole thing. :P

As for genre, I'm going to say fantasy, but kinda also more modern, technology-wise. There's definitely a clash between ancient and modern as one of the themes. I wish I could say more about it, but first I have to write it, haha! Also I'm not supposed to betray anything about it as long as the authors are unrevealed, which unfortunately will be the case until March 8. Wow, that feels like a long time from now , but I'm sure the time will pass quickly!
